Sanyo Denki releases new EtherCAT servo drive product

SANYO DENKI CO., LTD. has newly developed high performance AC servo amplifier with high-speed field-bus EtherCAT interface, expanding "SANMOTION R" ADVANCED MODEL series lineup.
With EtherCAT, 100 Mbps field-bus system, response performance of the system has been speeded up and operation takt time has been greatly shortened.
This amplifier is suitable for chip mounter, semiconductor manufacturing machines or machine tools application.

High-Speed Field-Bus EtherCAT Interface

EtherCAT is a field-bus system that allows 100Mbps high-speed and highly reliable communication.
With this interface, response performance is speeded up, servo system controllability is enhanced, and takt time is greatly reduced.

50％ Shorter Position Settling Time*

The vibrations of the low rigidity machine stand resonance is minimized, and shortens position settling time.
The Amplifier is suitable for chip mounters and equipments that require high-speed positioning.

15％ Increased Torque of High Rotation Speed*

The torque under high-speed rotation is 15% increased compared with our conventional product.

Safety Model newly added to lineup

Since this new model safely shutsdown motor torque, safety system is more easily installed on the equipments.
